Partnership – Three Years In The Making

Anagenix and Access Group were first in contact back in 2021. Anagenix shared its extensive Marketing and Technical packs with the team. Information in the technical pack included clinical studies, deep dives into mechanisms of action and how Livaux supports the growth of probiotics and is unique in its effective yet gentle action on the gut. Supported by our distributor in Australia, Ingredients-Plus, we presented Livaux to the science and marketing team at Access, outlining Livaux’s benefits as a precision prebiotic and how it can add value and the differentiation it creates for Access product formulation; including gut axes, Fodmap friendly, clinically studied wholefruit and a low dose of 600mg. Besides the science and marketing team of Anagenix, we also provided regulatory support to Access in the form of patent information, regulatory checks and quality, stability information. It was a whole team effort to support Access.

Theronomic® Tri-Biotic Pre, Pro and Postbiotic Concept

Synbiotics are expected to reach USD1.5 billion in 2030, according to National Business Journal and overall growth for both synbiotics and prebiotics are projected to outpace probiotics. Theronomic sets itself as a leader in the digestive space with a pre-pro-post product. It has sold out for its first launch and we have seen their orders triple.

Theronomic Tri-Biotic Gut Shield combines the following:
• Livaux® at 277.5 mg as the prebiotic component to support both the growth of the probiotics in the formulation and the beneficial gut bacteria already in the gut;
• Probiotics, including Synbio™, a clinically studied probiotic blend that improves microbiome health and bowel habits; and,
• Postbiotics – heat-inactivated bacteria which are known to benefit human health.

Why Livaux®?
Livaux® is a wholefood-based nutritional ingredient crafted from nutrient-dense New Zealand gold kiwifruit clinically proven to balance the gut microbiome While other dietary fibres are substances obtained by extraction from food sources, Livaux® represents a more diversified supplement including not just dietary fibre, but other valuable components, such as vitamins, minerals and polyphenolics.

Grows F. prau

One of the most abundant beneficial bacteria in the gut, Faecalibacterium prausnitzii (F. prau), which is thought to be a marker of a healthy gut, feeds upon Livaux, increasing its relative abundance, as shown in in two clinical studies and one in vitro study.

Slow Fermentation
The complexity of Livaux fibre means that it ferments slowly along the entire length of the colon, supporting a range of beneficial bacteria, promoting diversity in the gut.

Supports Butyrate Production
As a major butyrate producer, F. prau helps to power the colon and reduce oxidative stress and inflammation. An imbalance in the gut, with reduced levels of F. prau, can lead to lower amounts of beneficial butyrate, contributing to increased intestinal permeability, or a leaky gut. The resulting low-grade inflammation and intolerance to environmental and emotional stressors leads to health conditions, like low mood, stress and anxiety, skin problems, low energy and poor sleep, and food intolerances. Correcting dysbiosis by the use of Livaux can help to restore the gut microbiome and the gut lining, resulting in improved health.
